Hello Four Heroes Top Dogs!
It is hard to believe we are already entering the month of May. This month brings us the Smarter Balance state test for our 3rd-5th grade students. These are very important tests and we want our students to perform at their best. Please ensure that your student(s) gets plenty of rest prior to testing and encourage them to do their very best.
Teacher Appreciation Week:
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 8th-May 12th. We appreciate all the hard work that our teachers put in to make Four Heroes a wonderful place to be. Encourage your student(s) to show their teacher some appreciation by sharing kind words, drawing a nice picture, or creating a thank-you card.
Lost and Found:
Please remind your student to check the lost and found. We have tons of unclaimed items piling up.
Dress Code:
A couple of reminders as the weather begins to warm up. Students must wear clothing that covers their stomach, back, chest, and undergarments. Shorts, skirts, and dresses must be longer than mid-thigh. Footwear must allow for quick and safe evacuation under drill and/or emergency circumstances. Additionally, footwear must allow for safe participation in recess and PE.
Kindergarten Orientation:
Incoming kindergarteners and parents are encouraged to attend our orientation on Thursday, May 18th at 6:00 pm.
