Welcome Back, Four Heroes Families!

We are so excited to begin a new school year and welcome our students and families back to Four Heroes Elementary. We hope you have had a wonderful summer and are looking forward to a year filled with learning, connection, growth, and fun. Our staff is excited to see everyone and make this a GREAT school year!

As we get ready for the first day, we have two important back-to-school reminders for our families:

1. Family Connection & Kindergarten Conferences

At Four Heroes, we begin each school year with individual conferences because we believe that strong relationships are the foundation for student success. These conferences give us an opportunity to learn about your child, hear from you as their family, and begin building a strong partnership between home and school.

1st–5th Grade Family Connection Conferences

  • All 1st–5th grade families will have a conference with your child’s new teacher.
  • These 20-minute conferences will be scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, or Thursday, September 3.
  • The first day of school for 1st–5th grade students will be Friday, September 4.
  • Our office team will reach out during the week of August 17–21 to schedule your conference.

Kindergarten Conferences

  • Incoming Kindergarten families will participate in a WaKIDS conference with your child’s new teacher.
  • These 20-minute conferences will be scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, Thursday, September 3, or Friday, September 4.
  • The first day of school for Kindergarten students will be Tuesday, September 8.
  • Our office team will reach out to schedule your conference once enrollment is complete.

2. Meet & Greet!

We can't wait to see our families at our Meet & Greet! Stop by to meet your new teacher, see your new classroom, and reconnect with our Four Heroes community.

We will also have some wonderful community partners joining us, including Communities in Schools, West Pierce Fire & Rescue, Lakewood Police Department, Consejo, Mi Centro, and more!

The Four Heroes PTO will also be hosting a fundraiser featuring Kona Ice Shave! Come grab a sweet treat while supporting our school community. PTO will also have Four Heroes spirit wear available for purchase.

Please remember that parking and the entrance for the event are located at the back of the building.

We are so excited to welcome our students and families back to Four Heroes! Thank you for being such an important part of our school community. We are looking forward to an amazing year together!
